Global Renewal exists to help drug and alcohol addicted people find renewed life in God's love and freedom from their addictions through the ministry of Teen Challenge residential centers globally. Global Renewal is a not-for-profit, faith based, educational, charitable service organization.
"Global Renewal represents a direct and magnificent response to our Lord's teachings in Matthew 25 when Jesus said, 'Whatever you do to the least of my brethren, you do unto me.' At any given time the 'least' could be any one of us, who through circumstance or choice find ourselves highly disadvantaged, dependent, in the abyss of sin. The 'least' today, who by the power of Jesus Christ can be the 'most' tomorrow, are drug addicts, prostitutes, trafficking victims, or the disenfrancised, the unborn child or disabled person.
As Christians we know that the 'least' are everywhere awaiting rescue, but far too often we become distracted, discouraged, or too disillusioned to intervene. Global Renewal is committed to helping drug and alcohol addicted people by a means of rehabilitation through Teen Challenge residential care centers globally."

*Training Teen Challenge graduates to become leaders of centers worldwide

*Recruiting construction work teams and volunteers for Teen Challenge projects

Global Renewal's mission is:to share the Love of God and proclaim freedom to those throughout the world with life-controlling addictions. With offices in the United States and Germany, Global Renewal seeks to affect any country where people need assistance breaking free from life-controlling substances. Global Renewal also seeks to provide pro-active education about preventing these types of addictions. Global Renewal supports Teen Challenge by training and providing leaders in the centers, and also providing educational scholarships to foreign Teen Challenge graduates for advanced Biblical training. Assistance is provided for the building and/or renovations of Teen Challenge Centers throughout the world. Global Renewal is an international humanitarian organization whose purpose is to positively impact a country one person at a time.

Henri J.M. Nouwen, author of, The Return of the Prodigal Son: A Story of Homecoming, reminds us that we all begin our faith journey as prodigals in need of the Father’s love. As we mature in our faith, often God’s love for us and desire to perfect us reveals the attitudes of the older brother (jealousy, envy, strife) within our own heart and again, we recognize our need, respond, and repent. Finally, as mature believers, we strive to embody the example of the Father’s love and we begin to embrace other prodigals on their journey home.
The greatest demonstration of the Father’s love was the gift of His Son, Jesus, unveiled in the humble birth of a child in a stable over 2,000 years ago. We invite you to join us this Christmas as we worship God and thank Him for the demonstration of His love toward us through the birth of Christ.
Reading “The Return of the Prodigal Son…” was a highlight for me spiritually during 2009. My faith has been enriched through this story in many ways, and I am more challenged than ever to demonstrate the love of God to others by sharing the story of His Son.
